Long-Term Strategic Direction
KatScratch is built on systems thinking — and the long‑term direction of this work reflects that same layered, evolving structure. As my research deepens and my applied work expands, KatScratch is moving toward a more integrated ecosystem of science, story, and human development.
Advancing the AIPP Model
I’m developing the Autonomic‑Interoceptive Predictive‑Processing (AIPP) Model, a systems‑based framework currently under peer review. This work explores how physiology, prediction, and identity interact to shape resilience, symptom patterns, and human experience. Publishing and refining this model is a central part of KatScratch’s future.
Building the Mobile Neuro‑Wellness Lab
A long‑term goal is to create a mobile, community‑based neuro‑wellness lab — a space where physiology, identity, and nervous‑system literacy can be explored in accessible, hands‑on ways. This project will bring psychophysiology out of academic spaces and into real communities.
Expanding Public Education Through Psych‑ish
Psych‑ish will continue to grow as a platform for narrative science, writing, and public education. This includes podcasting, long‑form writing, and accessible explanations of complex physiological and psychological concepts.
Developing Scalable Tools for Physiology + Identity Insight
KatScratch is moving toward creating tools that help people understand their own systems — from autonomic patterns to identity‑based traits. These tools will support individuals, teams, and communities in building resilience and self‑awareness.
Strengthening Systems‑Based Approaches to Human Development
Across all divisions, the long‑term direction is toward a unified, systems‑based approach to performance, wellness, and identity. This includes integrating research, applied work, and public education into a cohesive framework that evolves over time.
